Studio
Building narrative is an interdisciplinary architecture, design and research office. We delight in narrating the stories that bind people to a given place, time and each other.
The work spans varying scales from hotel interiors to furniture design with expertise in hospitality, residential and workplace design. Our work has been published by the Design Anthology, Dezeen, Hong Kong Institute of Architects, South China Morning Post and others.
Research activity delve into material innovation and local design culture. Yueng Yeung; Hong Kong Tea and Coffee Houses was published in 2021. Ongoing research into public amenities in Hong Kong estate housing is supported by Design Trust and the Hong Kong Institute of Architects CPD Fund.
The studio is based in Hong Kong with representation in Guangzhou, China.
